Default Your favourite Nightfall music track?

The other day I was just telling a guildie how great NF's music is compared to much of the other 2 chapters, and today when I was listening it to off a pair of headphones it reaffirms that.

IMO it is so good the US Army should even license Festival of Lyss and Kournan Caravan to use in their iraq recruitment advertisements!

Definitely the login screen music. The other stuff is okay but not really inspiring.

Desperate Flight is a nice track.
Have to admit though, Reign of Anguish track creates an amazing atmosphere in the Realm of Torment. Sure made buying that CE worth it.

I was actually kind of disappointed in the NF music. I prefer the thematic recurrances in the Prophecies and Factions soundtracks more. Even the NF login screen/theme got a bit tiring after a while.

Title music is really good, starts off a bit slow but once it kicks in its great.

Oh and the battle music you hear often in early parts of the game, can't recall the name, but it really sets the mood

Winamp. The Nightfall soundtrack lasted about ten hours before I muted it permanently.

...Have they made the transition into the "oh noes, combat!" music less abrubt since release? Mebbe I should give it another chance.

I for one am sick to death with Jeremy Soule's fantasy themed music, nearly every RPG I've played has the same tune in it :| The worse thing is he then goes and makes the Dawn of War soundtrack which is great

For sure the title music. One of my gaming highlights was, after beating Abbadon for the first time at about 2am on the Saturday of release and appearing in the throne of secrets and *that* music starting in just the right place. Awesome moment

Nightfall music was a big disappointment to me. The login music and Vabbi are the only two that I care for. I like practically all the musics everywhere in the other two games.

How can you tell (or where can I find out) what the music playing is called when you are in game?

Dunno. I liked it when you used to be able to tell what area you were in by the music alone. The classical music only played in War Camp, certain music in the Northern Shiverpeaks, etc. Now it seems that it's all random which makes it less of a joy for me -- and I admit to keeping the volume down now.

It's the opposite really. Prophecies had loads of tracks that got reused on multiple areas. Factions and Nightfall has music for specific regions, except the battle music.

I've had the music turned off since before Factions came out.
